Our military heroes should always be honored because of all the great deeds and sacrifices they have made for our country. Many veterans and soldiers have fought to the death but many have lived to come home. We American’s can’t forget about veterans just because they came home safe. They still have stories to tell and maybe none they want to tell but they should be honored for their patriotic services anyway. It is important to remember all who have freely chosen to join the military to protect and fight for freedoms and what is right. We have to remember that those veterans are important and didn’t go through war to be forgotten. They did it for many reasons including love and for the sake of our country and for that they deserve a huge thank you.
In the United States, we tend to take for granted all the rights and freedoms we have. It is difficult to comprehend what every soldier has to endure during their tour of duty. We cannot begin to imagine the danger and turmoil our veterans and soldiers encounter on a daily basis around the world. Honoring all our soldiers and veterans is a small compliment compared to what they did for us but it is really our only way to show our thanks and appreciation.
It’s not just about those veterans that have come back from war but it is also about celebrating those who haven’t. Those who were willing to give their lives for their country and unfortunately are easily forgotten should also be celebrated. The men and women that have left their families and friends behind for their country can be celebrated by having memorials to show our respects to those who we love. We need to honor them anywhere and anytime because if we don’t we won’t be respecting them the way they respected and loved our country.
Our veterans have not just fought for our country but other countries as well. The United States and many other countries should be thankful for our veterans along with their own. The entire country is thankful and very appreciative of the helpful services of our many veterans and our current soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.
